About This Call
Look at Me 2024 is a juried art exhibition celebrating self-expression through art. The exhibition encourages artists to explore concepts of self-reflection, identity, and the multifaceted nature of human existence. Suggested themes include portraits and figures, self-reflection, cultural identity, body positivity, empathy and connection, surreal imagery, and abstract work. All interpretations in any 2D and 3D art medium, abstract or representational, are welcomed. Artists can submit up to 5 original artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. There is no size limit or restriction on artwork creation year, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.
Selected artworks will be exhibited in an online group exhibition from April 18 to June 18, 2024, and promoted globally through Exhibizone's network, which has attracted more than 7.5 million art visitors. Selected works will be featured in an online exhibition catalogue, promoted on ARTSY (the largest global community of art collectors), and included in digital and print-on-demand catalogues circulated internationally. Artists will receive promotional badges, exhibition posters, artwork reviews from visitors, analytics reports on engagement and sales, and a digital certificate. Some selected artworks may be published in magazines and books within the Biafarin art network. Each selected artist receives a free online profile page on the Biafarin platform.
Submission is free of charge. A USD 35 selection fee applies only to selected artists, with a money-back guarantee available until the exhibition's official opening day. The jury process uses a two-phase approach: initial Yes/No selection followed by scoring from 1 to 5 by jury members. Artworks with the highest scores in the "Yes" group will be selected. This opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide creating original work in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, sculpture, installation, crafts, jewelry, glass art, fiber art, textile art, mixed media, and other visual arts categories. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and not copies or derivatives of other copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally.
