About This Call
The Long's Park Art Festival is held on Labor Day weekend (September 4-6, 2026) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Presented by the Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to enriching Lancaster through art and music, the festival is recognized as one of the nation's best outdoor fine arts festivals. The event showcases handmade fine art and craft in an outdoor gallery setting, attracting guests from the mid-Atlantic region including Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Harrisburg, and New York.
The 2026 application fee is $20.00. A panel of jurors will score all applications received by the March 1st deadline and select 200 artists to invite to the festival. Jurors are typically artists and craftspeople who have previously exhibited at Long's Park Art Festival. A special Emerging Artist category is available with a free application and free booth fee for first-year emerging artists. Artists may apply in up to two separate categories with different bodies of work, with a separate application and fee required for each.
Applicants must submit five digital images via the application process: four images of individual pieces representative of current work and one booth display image showing the full range of work to be displayed. Artwork exhibited must match the quality and balance of submitted images. Artists are not permitted to submit complex artwork in applications and then display a large quantity of simple work at the festival. The festival offers vehicle access for loading and unloading, free on-site parking and overnight camping, free cold beverages and snacks, breakfast buffets on Saturday and Sunday, a Saturday evening dinner buffet, volunteer booth sitters, and 24-hour on-site security from setup through Sunday evening. A listing of all artists and links to their websites or social media will be included on www.longspark.org/art-festival.
