Longboat Key Festival of the Arts

The Longboat Key Festival of the Arts is a juried street art festival taking place at Town Center Green, located near Publix on Bay Isles Road. This is a second event scheduled for Long Boat Key at the same location as the February event. Town Center Green has been specifically designed for events, featuring a community park area suitable for concerts and local festivals. The show runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm with setup on Friday. Public admission is free with no gate, and parking is available daytime and overnight near the show site.

This competitive show is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists who meet weekly. Applications are juried in order of date received, and early application is recommended as categories may close once maximum allotment is reached. Booth spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 double booths available with approved double booth image). The application fee is $595 and the jury fee is $35 (non-refundable). Emerging artists are accepted.

Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved individual artist. The artist must be present throughout the event, and only one medium per booth is permitted. All tents must be white, and booth displays must match the submitted application image. Artists must use professional display systems like pro panels or heavy mesh walls.
