Long Island Aquarium's 25th Anniversary Celebration - Open Juried Art Exhibit

Long Island Aquarium is hosting an open juried art exhibition celebrating its 25th anniversary. The exhibition welcomes artists to showcase works depicting marine life and aquatic settings. This is a national open call with subject matter that must connect to marine and aquatic imagery.

Eligibility and Requirements: All mediums are welcome, including fine art, sculpture, and photography. Work must be the artist's original design and concept, submitted ready to be hung or displayed. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces at $10 per submission. Digital submissions must be completed through CaFE (www.callforentry.org). Entry Deadline: June 7, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Acceptance Announcement: June 13, 2025. Reception Date: June 25, 2025, 5:30pm-8:30pm at Long Island Aquarium, 431 E. Main St., Riverhead, NY 11901.

Prizes: Best in Show ($500), First Place ($250), Second Place ($150), Third Place ($100), and Two Honorable Mentions (2 Long Island Aquarium Tickets). Jurors include Bryan DeLuca, Eli Fishman, Clayton Orehek, and a representative from East End Arts. Accepted artwork must be available for the evening event on June 25th and may remain on display for up to 2 weeks after. Artists are responsible for all shipping and delivery coordination. Work must be dropped off between June 1-7, 2025 and picked up during a designated period to be announced. Long Island Aquarium does not insure artwork and is not responsible for loss or damage.
