Lone Tree Art Exhibition and Sale

The Tenth Annual Lone Tree Art Exhibition and Sale runs November 12, 2011 to December 31, 2011 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, Colorado, 80124. The opening cocktail reception is November 12 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This juried exhibition features high quality original works in the following categories: Oil, Water Media, Pastels, Mixed Media, and Sculpture. Artists age 18 and older may submit up to three pieces of artwork. Artwork must be original in concept and executed by the artist's own hand, completed within the last three years, not previously shown in a Lone Tree Art Exhibition, and available for purchase. Artwork should be non-offensive to a general audience of all ages. Sculpture must fit on a 15 square inch pedestal.

Selections are made by juror Pat Fostvedt via digital images submitted through callforentry.org. Awards will be made from delivered artwork and final presentation. Total cash awards are estimated at $4,000, with award amounts per category based on the total number of entries in each category. The Best In Show winner receives gallery space for up to 10 images for 30 days at the Lone Tree Arts Center following the exhibition. Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). Artwork must be appropriately framed with saw tooth hangers not acceptable, wired for wall mounting on the Arakawa Hanging System. Framed finished minimum size is 140 square inches and maximum size is 2400 square inches. Images must not weigh more than 55 lbs. A 20% commission will be charged on sales.
