Local 14 Art Show & Sale 2026

Celebrating 59 years, the Local 14 Art Show & Sale is an annual, high-quality, indoor art sale held at Miller Hall at the World Forestry Center in Portland, Oregon. The event invites all West Coast artists (including Idaho, British Columbia, and California to Alaska) to apply to be part of this 60-artist event featuring 30 member artists and 30 guest artists.

The show runs October 2-4, 2026 (Friday 10 am-6 pm, Saturday 10 am-6 pm, Sunday 10 am-4 pm), with setup on Thursday, October 1. This is a commission-based sale with a central cashier system handling all money transactions and wrapping of sold artwork, with the exception of jewelers who handle their own sales and wrapping. The event supports emerging artists by awarding scholarships to outstanding students.

Applications are due March 22, 2026 through Zapplication. The jury fee is $45 (non-refundable, paid by credit card). Upon acceptance, artists must pay a $150 non-refundable acceptance fee by check and are subject to a 25% commission on all work sold plus credit card fees. Each guest artist or their proxy is required to volunteer six hours during the show on tasks such as wrapping purchases, restocking displays, door security, show floor assistance, setup, and/or teardown. Jewelers must be in their booth during show hours and contribute required hours at setup or teardown. Applications must include four images of artwork plus one booth/display shot, and an artist process statement limited to 100 characters or less. All work must be original and not previously exhibited in a Local 14 show. Eligible mediums include drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, 2D fiber, and 2D mixed media. Reproductions are allowed in display bins but may not be hung on walls.
