Little America Hotel & Resort Call for 2D Artwork

Little America Hotel & Resort in Cheyenne, Wyoming is currently renovating to create three new suites and is seeking original artwork for purchase. Up to 25 pieces will be selected and installed in common areas of the suites, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The hotel is interested in original artwork including paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, or mixed media. Prints, including giclees or other reproductions, will also be considered. Series information should be included in the image caption or description.

Little America seeks artwork that achieves a local feel while matching the history and culture of Wyoming. They are interested in vibrant and contemporary work that incorporates elements of Western or Wyoming imagery. Emerging and Native artists are encouraged to apply. Work must be no smaller than 24x24 inches with maximum dimensions of 48x48 inches. Artwork will be reviewed and selected by a committee of Little America staff, management, owner representation, the project designer, and community arts partners.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents, a minimum of 18 years of age, and Wyoming residents. Applicants must be willing to meet project deadlines. Artwork must be framed appropriately with hanging hardware and ready for installation. Submissions are due December 13, 2024. Image captions must include title, date, medium (including any print or series numbers), framed dimensions, and purchase price. Purchased artwork becomes the property of Little America Hotel & Resort. While artists retain copyright, Little America Hotel & Resort will receive permission to use images of the artwork for official purposes such as publicity, promotion, or education.
