Litchfield Park Gathering 2027

The Litchfield Park Gathering is a free, public celebration of indigenous arts and cultures held January 9-10, 2027, in Litchfield Park, Arizona, 30 minutes west of Phoenix. The festival runs daily from 10am to 5pm and attracts thousands of visitors. This is an opportunity for artists to sell their work to collectors and consumers. The festival is supported by the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Arizona Office of Tourism.

Accepted artists may enter a juried art competition with onsite review by an expert panel on Friday, January 8, at the Wigwam Resort. Winners are notified when retrieving their pieces that evening and are announced and showcased during the festival. Artists must have proof of tribal affiliation and comply with the Indian Arts and Crafts Acts of 1990 and 2000. All artwork must be original, handcrafted creations with the artist's trademark or signature. No co-ops, dealers, traders, imported, manufactured, mass-produced, or kit-made items are allowed. Specific regulations apply to basketry, beadwork, leather, dolls, jewelry, paintings, prints, pottery, sculpture, textiles, and weaving.

Booth fees include a $25 application fee plus space rental: $400 for 10'x10', $500 for 10'x15', or $600 for 10'x20'. Electricity is $35 per plug and assigned first-come, first-served. Artists must provide their own white canopy, tables, and chairs, and a minimum of 50 lbs. of weights per booth leg. Setup and breakdown times will be strictly enforced. Artist/vendor parking is not allowed on festival grounds during the show. RV and overnight parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Litchfield Elementary School, 272 E Sagebrush St. Refunds are not issued after December 21, 2026, except if the event is cancelled or for documented medical reasons. A $10 administrative fee is deducted from approved refunds.
