About This Call
LINE is a national juried exhibition open to all mediums, sizes, and concepts that relate to or include a line. The exhibition will be on display at the Attleboro Arts Museum from June 15 - July 15, 2017. Six prizes of $100 each will be awarded.
Each artist may submit up to two different entries. All mediums and interpretations of Line from US artists will be juried. There is no size limit for 2D work, however all entries (both 2D and 3D) cannot weigh more than 100 lbs each. Work must not have been previously exhibited at the Attleboro Arts Museum. For 2D submissions, submit one jpg per piece. For 3D or installation submissions, submit two jpgs with different views. Audio and video files can be submitted; if selected, all video and audio technology must be supplied by the artist.
Entry fees are $18 for Museum members or $25 for non-members, covering up to two entries. All fees are non-refundable. The entry deadline is Tuesday, April 25th at 11:59 PM, Mountain Time. Artists will receive notification of their submission status by Wednesday, May 24th at 7:00 PM, Mountain Time. Accepted works will be posted on the Museum's website. All accepted work must be delivered between May 25th and June 7th, 10 AM – 3 PM Eastern Time. Work must be framed, gallery-wrapped, or finished on the edges and ready to hang with a sturdy wire hanging system. All art sales are subject to the Museum's commission of 30% for members and 40% for non-members. The Museum will insure all work from arrival through pick-up dates, with a maximum coverage of $2000 per piece and a $500 deductible. In-person pick-up is available July 15th from 4-5pm Eastern Time and July 18th-19th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Eastern Time. Work left beyond July 19th at 3:00 PM Eastern Time will be charged $5 per day per piece.
