Lincoln Gallery 2018 National Fine Art Show

Lincoln Gallery in Loveland, Colorado announces their 2018 National Fine Art Show, open to all U.S. artists working in six categories: Oil, Watercolor & Acrylic, Pastel & Drawing, Mixed Media, 3-D, and Photography. Work must be original art, not copied from published photos or works by other artists, and completed within the last three years. All entries must be for sale. No installations or sets of works to make one entry will be accepted. The jury committee reserves the right to disqualify any work considered to be in poor taste or inappropriate. Entries that have received cash awards from previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League sponsored shows are not permitted.

The exhibition will run from May 11 through June 8, with the Artists' Reception and Awards Presentation on May 11 from 6:00-8:00 PM. The show will be juried by Maureen Corey, Curator of Art at the Loveland Museum/Gallery. Cash awards and prizes will exceed $2,000, with awards for Best of Show plus First and Second Place in each category. This show coincides with the Governor's Art Show, which runs May 12-June 17 at the Loveland Museum Gallery, located one-half block from the Lincoln Gallery.

Entry fee is $45 and includes up to three entries. Additional entries are $10 each, with a maximum of six entries total. Artists may enter multiple categories but total entries may not exceed six. Flat work including frame shall not exceed 74 inches in linear measurement and must be wired for hanging. Three-dimensional art must be no more than 36 inches in any one dimension and weigh no more than 50 pounds. All work must be labeled with an Artist/Art label. Hand-delivered work will be received April 28-May 2 between noon and 6:00 PM. All shipped artwork must be received by May 2. All artists will be notified by email of judging decisions by April 23. The Lincoln Gallery will collect a 35% commission on all sales. Payment for sold items will be mailed to artists on the 20th of the month following the close of the show.
