Lightvisions: Capturing the Transformative Quality of Light

Photo Artfolio invites photographers worldwide to submit their work to an inaugural online exhibit, "Lightvisions." The call seeks extraordinary photography that explores the captivating and transformative qualities of light, including abstract or narrative scenes, conceptual or portrait photography that uses light in innovative and imaginative ways.

Submissions are due by August 11th, 2023 at 11:59pm MST. Photographers will receive notification of acceptance by August 29th, 2023 when the online exhibit opens. All accepted images will be displayed in the online gallery at www.photo-artfolio.com. First place ($500), second place ($300), and third place ($100) will be awarded. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional image, with a maximum of 20 images total. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance.

This call is open to photographers worldwide, both amateur and professional, who are 18 years or older. All work submitted must be original work created and owned by the submitting photographer. The call is open to all forms and categories of photography with the exception of AI-generated work. Images must be submitted in JPEG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Photographers retain all rights to their work and receive 100% of any sales. Upon acceptance, Photo Artfolio receives the right to display images on their website, social media, and other promotional channels with credit to the photographer.
