About This Call
Lights, Shadows, Reflections 2025 invites artists worldwide—painters, photographers, sculptors, digital artists, illustrators, and mixed media artists—to explore light, shadow, and reflection as visual storytelling elements. The exhibition welcomes all artistic expressions that explore, celebrate, or challenge the roles of light, shadow, and reflection, whether literal, symbolic, or abstract. Themes include illumination and glow, mystery and darkness, reflected realities, symbolic interpretations, urban and architectural lightplay, nature's theater, inner light and dark, abstract exploration, surreal visions, photography focus, glass and metal art, and interactive and conceptual art.
Selected artworks will be featured in an exclusive international online exhibition running from October 9 to December 9, 2025, reaching art lovers, collectors, and curators worldwide. All jury-selected artworks will be published in the official catalog, with a selection of featured works having the opportunity to be published in The Book of Arts. Selected works will be featured on ARTSY, the largest global art collector platform, providing greater visibility and sales opportunities.
Open to all artists worldwide of any age, background, or career stage. All 2D and 3D mediums are accepted, including painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and photography. Submission is free; only jury-selected artists will pay a selection fee of USD 40 (or USD 34 with early bird discount). Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Selected artists will receive exhibition features, publication opportunities, curated reviews, interviews, audience feedback, exhibition catalog inclusion, honorable mention awards, permanent online presence, exhibition posters, visibility badges, visitor comments, promotion campaigns, performance insights, professional artist profiles, and digital certificates of participation.
