Light of the West #2

Robert A. Peck Gallery is accepting applications for an exhibition of photographic images shot in Wyoming. All photographic print formats are accepted, including black and white film, digital, alternative and experimental processes. No videos, films, or AI-generated images. Artists can reside anywhere in the world.

The exhibition seeks images that capture unexpected aspects of Wyoming and exude innovation, aesthetic finesse, and thought-provoking narratives. Submissions should feature unique and out-of-the-ordinary images rather than archetypical visitor guide imagery. Artists may submit 1-8 JPEG images for jurying. There is no application fee. Awards and prize money totaling $5,000 will be given for Best of Show, People's Choice, and 1st-3rd place.

Eligibility: Images must be taken in Wyoming. Artists must own copyright of the image and obtain model releases for any persons photographed. A 1-page artist statement or process/technique statement is required. Framed artwork must use eye hooks with wire and plexiglass or glass; frames with back stands are not accepted. Images printed on metal or other materials must be ready to hang. The exhibition runs August 19 - October 10, 2025. A 3-panel jury of Wyoming artists will select work. The gallery will provide setup and light refreshments at the opening reception. No commission fee will be collected.
