Life on the Streets: A Virtual Juried Street Photography Exhibit

Photo Art Pavilion announces an open call for street photography celebrating dynamic urban scenes from across the world. Photographers from the USA and internationally are invited to submit captivating images that capture the energy of life on the streets—from crowded city squares to intimate moments between strangers, bustling markets to quiet corners of the urban jungle. The exhibit seeks to showcase the vibrancy of everyday life in cities, current or nostalgic, offering viewers a glimpse into the heart of cities worldwide.

Open to all photographers, emerging and professional. All styles of photography are welcome. Juried selections will be based on: Clear Center of Interest, Composition, Focus and Exposure, Story, Lighting, Creativity, and Uniqueness. The juror is Joanne Henig, co-founder and curator of Photo Art Pavilion and an established fine art photographer with over 40 years of professional experience.

Submissions must include 3-5 images in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding. Entry fee is $35.00 per artist. The submission deadline is August 29th, 2025. Selected works will be displayed in an online gallery on PhotoArtPavilion.com beginning September 11th, 2025. The Virtual Juried Exhibit Reception will be held online on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 at 7:00PM EST via Zoom. Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mention ($35). All artists will be notified by email by September 5th, 2025. Open to artists aged 18 years and older.
