Life In Analog: A Juried Film Photography Exhibition

Fort Works Art announces an open call for submissions for Life In Analog: A Juried Film Photography Exhibition. The competition is open to artists residing in the continental USA and accepts contemporary original film photography work only. Video and digital work will not be accepted. The entry fee is $35 for up to three images. Submissions must be received by September 23, 2018.

All work must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Fort Works Art. The digital image submitted must match the physical piece delivered to the gallery if selected. Film type must be listed with submissions. Work will be juried by Kristen Gaylord, Assistant Curator of Photography at The Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The Best in Show award is $500. Notification of acceptance will be sent by October 2nd, with shipping/receiving from October 2-13 and hand delivery drop-off October 9-13. The exhibition runs October 17 through November 3, with an opening reception on October 19 from 6:00 to 9:00pm.

Artists are responsible for shipping work to and from the gallery. Artwork must include a return shipping label and have hardware installed for immediate installation. All pieces will be for sale at Fort Works Art with a 50% commission retained by the gallery. Work will be insured at the gallery but not in transit. For questions, contact [email protected].
