About This Call

Life and Death 2025 is the 3rd annual juried exhibition and publication opportunity presented by Gallerium, inviting artists to explore themes of life and death through visual art. The exhibition runs from July 12 to September 12, 2025, as an exclusive international online exhibition.

Theme topics include: Beginnings and Birth, Parenthood and Legacy, Growth and Flourishing, Still Life and Everyday Life, Love and Connection, Celebrations of Living, Endings and Farewells, Grief and Mourning, Skulls and Symbols of Impermanence, Eternal Rest and Afterlife, Decay and Beauty, Acceptance and Transformation, The Cycle of Life, Cultural Rituals, Existential Questions, Spirituality and Metaphysics, Rebirth and Renewal, Personal Stories, and Symbolic Journeys. All 2D and 3D mediums are accepted, including painting, drawing, digital, mixed media, sculpture, installation, fiber art, and photography. All styles and skill levels are welcome.

Submission is free. Selected artists will pay a USD 40 selection fee (USD 34 with early bird discount). Up to 6 artworks can be submitted per artist, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Selected artworks will be featured in an exclusive international online exhibition, published in The Book of Arts, and showcased on ARTSY. Artists will receive a digital certificate of participation, exhibition poster, artwork visibility badges, professional artist profile on Biafarin platform, and detailed performance reports. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive an Honorable Mention Artist Award digital certificate. All exhibited works will have permanent online presence with artist profiles remaining active indefinitely.
