Life and Death - 2023

Gallerium presents Life and Death - 2023, a dual exhibition and publication opportunity for visual artists worldwide. Artists are invited to submit original 2D or 3D abstract and representational artworks inspired by the themes of life and death. These themes have been central to art history across cultures, appearing in various forms from symbols and icons to traditional memento mori imagery.

Selected artworks will be published in The Book of Arts: Life and Death series and exhibited online from May 15 to July 15, 2023. Submission is free; a USD 40 selection fee applies only to selected artists. Artists may submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 selected per artist. All visual art media are accepted, including painting, drawing, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media. Artworks must be original works created by the entrant, with no size or creation year restrictions, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.

Selected artists receive publication in The Book of Arts and exhibition catalogue (available in print and digital formats), a digital certificate, a free artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, social media promotional badges, an exhibition poster, and a detailed report with analytics on artwork views, engagement, and sales. The publication reaches hundreds of thousands of art professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts across over 120 countries.
