Lewiston Art Festival 2026

Since 1966, the Lewiston Art Festival has drawn art lovers from Western New York, Southern Ontario, and beyond, including international visitors from nearby Niagara Falls. Each year, this juried outdoor art show brings 25,000 visitors to the Village of Lewiston, New York. The festival features exceptional artists working in a wide range of fine art and craft categories, with free admission and parking.

Artists can compete for cash and ribbon prizes in seven categories: painting, mixed media, graphic arts/photography, ceramics/glass/metal, jewelry, and fiber/leather/wood, plus Best Booth Display and Best of Show. There is no extra fee to compete for prizes. The festival also includes an Emerging Artists Showcase featuring student artwork, an Indigenous Experience celebrating traditional and contemporary Native American art and craft, and ArtZone with hands-on activities for kids.

Application fees are $30 until March 31, 2026, or $50 from April 1-24, 2026. Application deadline is March 31, 2026 (early bird) or April 24, 2026 (late). Artists are notified of jury decisions by May 15, with booth purchase deadline June 8. The festival takes place August 8-9, 2026. Only original, human-created artwork is eligible; works generated with artificial intelligence will not be accepted. Exhibitors must have direct, hands-on involvement in creation and execution of each piece. Artists must be present during the festival and remain open 10am-6pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday.
