Let the Fur and Feathers Fly

A juried exhibition at Epperson Gallery open to artists 18 years and older residing in Northern California. The gallery invites artists to submit 2D and 3D artwork that celebrates animals—cats, dogs, birds, or anything with fur or feathers. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, ceramic, photography, and glass.

Artwork must be original work created within the past three years that has never been shown at Epperson Gallery. No giclee or offset lithographs are accepted. Lithographs and etchings must be hand-pulled, numbered, dated, and signed. Sculpture and three-dimensional pieces must be one-of-a-kind originals. Digital art is not accepted. Photos must be signed and numbered. All artwork must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware (no sawtooth hangers) or gallery-wrapped/framed. Size limitation: 60 inches maximum width. All work must be for sale.

Entry fee is $45, with an additional $10 per image for up to 3 extra images (1-4 images total required). Submit 1-4 JPG images between 1mb and 3mb in size with a minimum of 1200 px on one side. Submission deadline: February 12, 2025. Notification: February 15, 2025. Artwork delivery by: March 2, 2025. Exhibition dates: March 22 - April 20, 2025. Opening reception: March 22, 2025, 4-6pm. Awards: Best 3D artwork $1,500, Best 2D artwork $1,500, and two additional awards of $1,000 each. Epperson Gallery retains 50% commission on all sales. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide prepaid return labels.
