LENS 2025

Perspective Gallery announces LENS 2025, the 15th annual juried international exhibition of fine art photography. Photographers are invited to submit work for possible inclusion in the exhibition. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome, except AI-generated images. The juror is Hamidah Glasgow, Executive Director and Curator at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Photographers may submit up to five photographic images in JPEG format created within the past five years. The entry fee is $40 (U.S.) for up to five images, or $35 with the EARLYBIRD discount code for submissions before November 1st, 2024. File dimensions must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB, with sRGB color profile. File names should be the title of the work without the artist's name. A short artist statement (1,000 characters maximum) is required.

Notification of acceptance is January 24, 2025. Accepted work must be framed professionally with hanging wire (no sawtooth hangers) and use plexiglass, not glass. Artwork delivery to the gallery is due February 28, 2025, or may be hand-delivered that day between 12 and 5 p.m. The exhibition runs March 6-30, 2025, with an opening reception and awards on March 8, and a virtual artists' talk on March 20 at 7 p.m. CST. Awards include Juror's Award ($300), 1st Runner-up ($200), and 2nd Runner-up ($150). Artists receive 60% of sales prices; Perspective Gallery receives 40% commission. For international artists, Perspective Gallery will print their work with costs paid by the artist. Artwork must be shipped via UPS or FedEx with return shipping prepaid or account number included. Insurance during transit is the photographer's responsibility; the gallery insures all works against theft and damage while in the gallery.
