About This Call

The 39th edition of the Las Olas Art Fair takes place on Las Olas Boulevard (SE 6th Ave to SE 11th Ave) in Fort Lauderdale. This juried art fair is open to artists working in clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. The show runs Saturday and Sunday, 10am-5pm, with setup on Saturday morning. Public admission is free with no gate fee. Parking is available near the show site, and overnight security will be onsite.

To apply, submit 3 images of work, 1 image of a 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, a biography or website, and a $35 non-refundable jury fee. Applications are juried in order of date received; applicants are encouraged to apply early as the show and categories may reach maximum capacity. Allow 2 to 4 weeks for application processing. Booth spaces are 10x10 (10x20 double booths are limited and require double booth image submission and approval). The booth fee is $610. Upon invitation, a $50 deposit may be made if the event is more than 30 days away; the balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the event or a $50 late fee applies. If applying within 30 days of the show, a $50 late fee is charged. All booth fee payments are made directly to Howard Alan Events, not through Zapp.

Artwork must be original and handcrafted by the approved artist or through collaboration between two artists. One medium only per booth is permitted. The artist must be present throughout the event. Subletting or sharing space is prohibited. Mass-produced items, kits, and imported goods are not allowed. AI may be used for inspiration and idea development only; any AI use must be disclosed, and works generated mainly by AI are not eligible. For digital art, additional proof of creation may be required. Exhibitors selling food or skin care products must have product liability insurance naming Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavors as co-insured. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 60 days prior to the show to receive a show credit; cancellations within 60 days result in liability for the full balance.
