Large Art the Size of Small Art

R Gallery invites Colorado artists to participate in "Large Art the Size of Small Art," an exhibition celebrating intricate beauty and detailed work within limited dimensions. Artworks must not exceed 154 square inches (height x width) including frame. All mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, and other forms of visual art. Artists may submit up to 12 artworks for consideration, though typically only 1 piece from each selected artist will be chosen.

The exhibition runs from November 29, 2023 through January 14, 2024 at R Gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and are invited to attend the opening reception on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Eligibility is limited to Colorado residents, and all entries must be of original design and personal execution. The submission deadline is November 5, 2023 at midnight. Accepted works must arrive no later than Sunday, November 26, 2023. Notification of acceptance will be sent by November 9, 2023.

Entry fee is $30.00 with an additional $5.00 media fee. All pieces must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery charges a 50% commission on sales unless otherwise agreed upon. Work will be returned within 2 weeks of the exhibition closing; a prepaid return label must be provided if sending work by carrier.
