About This Call
Lincoln Into Art, a contemporary fine-art gallery in historic Gettysburg, PA, is hosting a 4-week landscape exhibition from May 27 to June 23, 2016. Artists are invited to submit landscape paintings or drawings for a chance to display and sell their work during peak tourist season. Gettysburg attracts millions of visitors annually and is consistently ranked as a top travel destination.
Accepted media includes 2-dimensional paintings or drawings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, encaustic, pastels, or mixed media, as well as illustrations and photographs. Landscapes do not need to depict Gettysburg or battle scenes, though those are welcome. All artwork must arrive in ready-to-hang condition and be priced and available for sale. An opening night Artists' Reception will be held for the public.
Entry fee is $25 for the first image submission, with additional submissions at $5 each. Artists may submit 1-20 images. Judges are Elaine Henderson, Gallerist at Lincoln Into Art, and Wendy Allen, Artist. Emerging artists are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is April 28, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
