About This Call
The California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks (CMATO) is accepting entries for a national juried exhibition focusing on landscape work. The exhibition will feature three artists with up to five works displayed per artist. CMATO will create an online catalogue with essays on the artists and their works, and the exhibition will also be presented on the museum's website. The exhibition runs from June 15 to August 5, 2017.
Eligibility is open to artists worldwide who are 18 years old or older, at any stage of their career. All mediums are accepted, including video and installation. Works must be original and created within the last three years. Submissions may include 1-5 images, 0-3 audio files, and 0-3 video files (11 samples maximum). The entry fee is $35 USD, with a limit of 5 images per submission. Artists may submit up to 20 applications.
Awards include $1,000 USD for the Featured Artist and $500 USD for Contributing Artists. Jurors are Erika Lizée, Bob Moskowitz, Luke Matjas, and Timothy C. Hengst. The entry deadline is May 1, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. All fees are non-refundable.
