LANDSCAPE ART Special Event 2022

Life in the West Art Gallery invites artists to participate in a juried exhibition featuring landscape artworks. All styles of 2D and 3D artwork will be considered in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Digital Art, and Photography. Artwork will be juried by four professional artists. The exhibition showcases beautiful, intriguing, and inviting landscape artworks, including those featuring wildlife or people. Landscapes of the West or beyond are welcome, particularly works that evoke memories of locations or inspire viewers to visit.

Entry fee is $40 for up to 3 images. Submissions must be original works of 2D and 3D art, though high-quality prints are acceptable. Wall hanging artwork may not exceed 48" in width (including frame) and must be gallery ready with wire for hanging. Sculptures must not exceed 60 lbs and ceiling suspended sculptures are not accepted. Glass coverings are not allowed; acrylic or plexiglas must be used instead. All artworks must be for sale. Artists retain 70% of sales; the gallery retains 30%. All works accepted for the exhibition will be insured for 70% of the sales price while on the premises. Artists will receive payment within 15 days of the show closing.

Artwork delivery is the week of September 5-9, 2022 from 9am-5pm. Show dates are September 16-18, 2022. Artist notification is August 22, 2022. Unsold artworks may be picked up at the closing of the show or on Monday, September 19 or Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 9am-5pm. All other artworks will be shipped by Friday, September 23, 2022. All shipped artwork must include a return prepaid shipping label. Artwork must be shipped in strong, reusable boxes with no styrofoam peanuts or popcorn allowed. Eligibility is open to all artists residing within the USA.
