Lakewood Annual Winter Salon

The Lakewood Cultural Center presents the first annual LCC Salon, a large-scale group exhibition running November 7, 2025 – January 2, 2026, with a reception on Friday, November 13, 6-8pm. This holiday season showcase celebrates community creativity through an art market featuring small, accessibly-priced artworks, all available for sale at $500 or less. Inspired by 19th-century French salons, the collection presents a broad range of artistic practices from traditional to contemporary. The salon will be juried by the City of Lakewood Arts Programming Curator, Laine Godsey. All exhibitions are free to the public.

Eligible artworks include original paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media, and photographs. No reproductions. All work must be for sale and delivered to the Lakewood Cultural Center; no shipping is allowed. 2-D work cannot exceed 3 feet in any direction, including the frame, and must be framed and ready to hang or mount on the wall with securely attached wires or a cleat system. No work can be suspended from the ceiling or sit on the floor. Up to 3 works per artist are accepted. The entry fee is $30 for up to 3 works.

Work must be delivered to the Lakewood Cultural Center during the week of October 27th between 9 am-5 pm. Notification of acceptance will be made no later than the end of the day, Friday, October 24th. The City of Lakewood receives a 15% commission on all work sold during the exhibition. Prices submitted at entry cannot be adjusted later. W9's must be completed for artwork sales. Unsold work must be picked up the week of January 5th between 9 am-5 pm. Sold work will be available for pick up after December 13th.
