About This Call
The 23rd annual Lakeville Art Festival takes place on the third weekend of September at the Lakeville Area Arts Center in historic downtown Lakeville (population 70,000+). This two-day event features 100+ premium artists selling handcrafted work including drawings, paintings, ceramics, glass, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, photography, jewelry, and more. The festival also includes hands-on art projects for all ages, art demonstrations, live music, food and beverages, and community activities.
Artists receive full meals both Saturday and Sunday mornings, free parking and unloading, relaxed setup and takedown, booth sitting assistance, 24-hour security, and $2,800 in cash awards. Expected attendance is 10,000+. Booth spaces are 10x10 feet (single booth $275) or 10x20 feet (double booth $550), with at least one foot between booths and 2-3 feet of storage behind. Corner booths are an additional $25, and electrical access is $25. An emerging artist program provides a white 10x10 tent and waived booth fee for artists new to outdoor festivals.
Accepted artists must handcraft all work and be present for the entire festival. Prints of photography, drawings, painting, and printmaking may be sold if original work is also present. All work exhibited must be of the quality represented in juried photos and must be for sale. The festival takes place rain or shine with no refunds due to inclement weather. Refund policy: 50% refund before July 17th, zero refund after July 20th. All booth fees are refunded if the festival is cancelled.
