About This Call
The 21st annual Lakeview East Festival of the Arts will take place September 19-20, 2026, in Chicago at 3200-3500 N. Broadway. Show hours are Saturday 11AM-7PM and Sunday 11AM-7PM. Load in is Friday, September 18th, 3:30PM-9PM, with cart in Saturday 5AM-9AM. Load out is 8PM on September 20th.
The festival encompasses all fine art and fine craft including acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, printmaking, drawing, fiber, ceramics, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, and photography. Other disciplines are considered upon individual consideration. Artists must submit work of their own conceived creation and must be in attendance throughout the festival. Work must not have been made in a production studio or using commercial molds, patterns, kits, or prefabricated pieces. A booth image is required with the jury application, preferably from a previous show.
Booth fee is $510.00 for a 10x10 space and includes applicable city permits, discounted parking, Saturday night artist reception, and full breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Application fee is $25.00. The festival accepts refunds at 100% (minus application fee) prior to May 1st; from May 1st to July 1st minus a $100.00 cancellation fee; no refunds within 60 days prior to September 18th, 2026. Application fees are non-refundable. Awards are given for Best of Show, 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place. Security will be present throughout setup, overnight, and during each day of the festival. All exhibitors are required to collect Illinois sales tax.
