Lakeshore Art Festival 2026

The Lakeshore Art Festival features a unique blend of fine art, handcrafted goods, music, food, and fun in beautiful Downtown Muskegon, Michigan. This nationally recognized festival takes place June 27-28, 2026, from 9am to 5pm both days. Guests will enjoy a juried fine art and craft fair, as well as vibrant streets brimming with unique artisan food products, children's activities, entertainment, and more.

The festival includes two categories: Fine Art/Fine Craft in historic Hackley Park and Craft/Artisan Food Market flowing through Downtown Muskegon. All work must be of original design and handcrafted by the artists with absolutely no buy/sell items permitted. Each exhibitor receives a 10'x10' display space and must provide their own tent and booth equipment. The application fee is $35 via Zapplications, with booth fees of $275 for Fine Art/Fine Craft and $195 for Craft/Artisan Food Market. A 50% discount is available to Muskegon Museum of Art members.

Applications require five images including three individual pieces, one work in progress, and one booth display image. $3,000 in prize money will be awarded to fine art/fine craft winners, with awards ranging from $200 to $1,000. The festival provides extensive marketing, overnight security, exhibitor hospitality, and booth sitters for breaks. Applications open November 1, 2025, with a deadline of February 1, 2026, and acceptance notifications on March 1, 2026.
