Lakeland Art Guild 49th Annual Melvin Gallery Art Exhibition

The Lakeland Art Guild 49th Annual Melvin Gallery Art Exhibition is an online exhibition running from May 14, 2022, through June 4, 2022. The exhibition will be accessible on YouTube, Instagram, and the Lakeland Art Guild's Facebook page. An online Awards Presentation and Judges Critique will be held on May 14, 2022.

Artists age 18 and over with residences in the United States are eligible. Membership with the Lakeland Art Guild is not required. Each artist may submit up to three pieces of art of any medium except giclees, video, and performance. All works must be original and completed within the last five years. Artwork that has won an award in a previous Melvin Gallery Art Exhibition is not eligible. The entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) and can be paid through CaFE or by check sent to: The Lakeland Art Guild, The 49th Annual Melvin Gallery Exhibition, 2607 Orleans Ave. Lakeland, FL 33803.

Awards include: Best of Show ($1,000), Gold Award ($600), Bronze Award ($400), and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each). All artwork must be appropriate for the general public and must be the sole work and exclusive property of the submitting artist. The original physical art remains in the possession of the artist.
