About This Call
The Lake Orion Art & Flower Fair, presented by the Orion Art Center, kicks off the summer fun and boating season for residents of beautiful Lake Orion and surrounding communities of northern Oakland County. The fair welcomes back dedicated vendors while increasing the number of artisans who produce handmade items and plant material specialists. This is one of two major fundraising events for the non-profit Orion Art Center along with Dragon on the Lake Festival.
The vendor market is open Saturday 10AM – 6PM & Sunday from 10AM – 4PM. There are 100 juried booth spaces available in two categories: Art, craft, handmade items along with flowers, plants, and landscaping materials (75 booths), and Food and non-art vendors (25 booths). Only original work handmade by the displaying artist is eligible for sale. Items must be at least 60% made by the vendor, with no contracted out or resale items permitted.
A $25 non-refundable application fee is due with the application. Upon acceptance, the $200 booth fee is due by May 1, 2025 ($150 for nonprofits). Applicants will be notified of jury status no later than April 18, 2025. Vendors must supply their own tent, tables, and chairs, with the event providing a 10x10 space and electricity if requested. All exhibits must be set up by 9:30 am on Saturday and remain open through Sunday at 4PM.
