About This Call
The Lake Dillon Art Festival is a juried event taking place in the heart of historic downtown Dillon, Colorado, now in its 19th year. This exclusive show will feature a carefully selected group of up to 95 artists, offering a high-quality selection of fine art and fine crafts. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Dillon in Summit County, the festival provides one of the most picturesque settings in Colorado, with the town being home to the world's highest yacht club at the Dillon Marina.
All forms of original fine art and fine crafts are accepted, including Painting, Sculpture, Metal, Glass, Printmaking/Drawing, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Jewelry, Wood, Fiber and Photography. Artists must submit 4 digital images of their work and 1 image of their display setup. The artist must be present to exhibit and display only their own original work - no representatives allowed. All spaces are approximately 10 x 10 feet on pavement outside with no electricity available, and only white tents are permitted.
Application fees are $50 per category (non-refundable), with booth fees due upon acceptance ranging from $599 for a single 10x10 space to $1,399 for a double corner space. The jury process involves 4 jurors scoring applications on a 1-10 scale, with an average of 150 applications submitted annually and 95 artists selected. Applications are viewed on computer monitors and sorted by submission date within each medium category.
