La Jolla Art & Wine Festival 2025

The 2025 La Jolla Art & Wine Festival returns to La Jolla on October 11th - 12th in the heart of the village, between Prospect St. and Torrey Pines Rd., on lower Girard Ave. This two-day juried art show and fundraiser has quickly garnered a reputation as one of the most prestigious art & wine festivals on the west coast, expecting to draw in the largest crowd to date. The LJAWF is FREE and open to the public. Featuring the works of over 150 established artists from San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Baja and beyond, the festival features something for everyone including a silent auction, roving entertainment, a gourmet marketplace, and a wine and beer garden which will include premier wineries from around the world in addition to San Diego's top breweries.

The application window runs from December 10, 2024 through May 12, 2025, with application notification on May 28, 2025. Artists will be selected by a highly qualified jury of artists, authors, critics, collectors, and/or the board based upon quality, originality, conception, and presentation of artwork and booth display. Upon acceptance, artists must purchase their booth space within one week of receiving their acceptance notification. The application fee is free, and 6 images plus a booth shot are required. All artwork exhibited must be for sale, and no commission on sales is collected by the festival.

The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival Foundation is a non-profit organization, with all profits benefiting underfunded programs such as art, music, science, physical education, and technology at all La Jolla public schools. Since its inception, the LJAWF has donated more than $1,200,000 to these schools for the educational benefit of more than 4,000 children each year. Load-in begins at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, and artists are required to man their booths during festival hours. Awards include Best Artist within each medium and Best In Show.
