About This Call
The Kingston Fine Arts Festival is a national competition accepting 2D, photography, and 3D/craft work. Entry fee is $40.00 for the first 3 images, with an additional $10.00 per image for up to 6 total entries. Artists must submit 3-6 images.
All 2D work must be framed or properly wired for hanging without brackets, and must not exceed 48" in width. Sculpture must be solid standing or securely mounted. All artwork must be for sale, with artists receiving 70% commission of sales. Proceeds support the college art scholarship program. Artwork must match the accepted images submitted; no refunds are provided. Nearly $3,000 in cash awards will be given in all categories, plus Best of Show ($1,000) and Viewers Choice awards, given at the judges' discretion.
Physical delivery is Saturday, July 20th, 10am-2pm at Kingston Community Center, Village Green, 26159 Dulay Rd NE, Kingston WA. Artwork must remain until Sunday, July 28th, 4pm. Pick-up is Sunday, July 29th, 4-6pm and Monday, July 29th, 10am-12pm. Shipped work must be suitably packaged in reusable containers (no styrofoam peanuts) with prepaid return waybills. Ship to E. Holstein, 5941 NE Timberland Dr., Kingston WA 98346 or PO Box 1852, Kingston WA 98346. Delivery accepted for two weeks before and including July 20th. The Preview Party Reception is Thursday, July 25th at 7pm at Village Green Community Center, featuring live music, appetizers, silent auction, and wine. Notification of results is July 2nd.
