Kingston Arts Festival 59th Annual Juried Art Show

The Kingston Arts Festival 59th Annual Juried Art Show is a national juried competition accepting 2D and 3D artwork. Entry fee is $40.00 for the first three entries, with $10.00 for each additional image up to six total. A $5.00 media fee applies. Artists must submit 3-6 images for consideration. Notification of acceptance is July 3rd.

All 2D work must be framed or properly wired for hanging without brackets, and cannot exceed 48" in width. Sculpture must be solid standing or securely mounted. All artwork must be for sale, with artists receiving 70% commission on sales. Proceeds benefit the college art scholarship program. Nearly $3,000 in awards will be given, including cash awards in all categories, a Best of Show award of $1,000, and a Viewers Choice award. Awards are given at the judges' discretion, and the judges' decisions are final. Artwork that differs from accepted images will not be allowed in the show. No refunds.

Physical delivery of artwork is Saturday, July 21st from 10am-2pm at Kingston Community Center at Village Green (26159 Dulay Rd NE, Kingston, WA). All artwork must remain until the end of the show on Sunday, July 29th at 4pm. Pick-up is 4-6pm on Sunday, July 29th and 10am-12pm on Monday, July 30th. Shipped work must be suitably packaged in a reusable container with a prepaid return waybill. Ship to E. Holstein at 5941 NE Timberland Dr., Kingston, WA 98346 or PO Box 1852, Kingston, WA 98346. Delivery is accepted for one week before and including July 21st. The Preview Party Reception begins the festival on Thursday, July 26th at 7pm at Village Green Community Center. Jurors are Leigh Knowles Metteer (2D) and John Abromowski (Photography).
