King William Fair 2027

The King William Fair is a one-day event held on Saturday, April 24, 2027, from 9:00am to 5:00pm in the historic King William District of San Antonio, Texas. The Fair draws approximately 25,000 visitors and features 200 Art & Craft exhibitors alongside five stages of live music and dance performances, food and beverage booths, a Texas Wine Garden, Kids Kingdom, and a 2-mile parade. The Fair has been held annually since 1968 and is recognized as San Antonio's "Best Family-Friendly Fiesta Event." Proceeds support fine art instructional programs in neighborhood schools, college scholarships for local students, and revitalization efforts in the King William Historic District.

The Fair accepts entries in the following categories: Apparel/Fiber, Ceramic, Drawing/Painting, Folk Art, Glass, Home/Body/Wellness, Jewelry, Leather/Metal/Wood, Mixed Media/Mosaic/Sculpture, Fun Fiesta Creations, Photography/Book Arts/Paper, Pre-Packaged Food, and World Market. All work must be original and handmade by the artist; no fabricated forms, kits, patterns, commercial products, or buy-and-sell items are allowed. Artists must be present and personally staff their booth during the event. The application fee is $40.00 (non-refundable). Booth spaces are 10 feet deep by 15 feet wide. Standard booth fee is $335.00; corner booths are $445.00. Optional fees include 110V electrical power ($200.00), liability insurance ($79.00 per booth), and parking permit ($30.00 per vehicle).

Awards include Best in Show/Henry Rayburn Award ($300) for creativity and originality, Best New Artist ($200) for artists new to the Fair, and Best Fiesta Spirit ($100) for booth display. Artist amenities include drive-thru packet pick-up, dedicated artist parking with golf-cart shuttle, an Artist Oasis Hospitality Area, boothsitters, a URL link on the King William Fair website, and two complimentary admission wristbands. The application deadline is Friday, January 14, 2027. Notification of acceptance is Thursday, January 28, 2027. The deadline to accept and purchase booth space is Thursday, February 16, 2027. Full refunds (minus the application fee) are available for cancellations received by Tuesday, March 23, 2027. Pre-Fair set-up is Friday, April 23, 2027 from 4:00pm to 8:45pm. Fair Day set-up is Saturday, April 24, 2027 from 6:00am to 7:45am. Breakdown is Saturday, April 24, 2027 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
