About This Call
This national exhibition call invites 2D and 3D artworks exploring themes of Afrofuturism, including fantasy, alternate history, science fiction, and magic realism as they relate to African diaspora.
Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture. Artists may submit up to 3 works for judging. Complete applications must include high-quality photos of work along with the title, media, dimensions, year, price/value, and a short artist description of how the work relates to the themes of Afrofuturism.
Submission deadline: December 15, 2025. Entry fee: $15. Total awards: $110.
