Kentuck Festival of the Arts 2025 (54th Annual)

The Kentuck Festival of the Arts is a juried show in its 54th year that attracts approximately 15,000 visitors from across the United States. The Festival features more than 270 exhibiting artists, educational demonstrations, interactive arts areas, children's arts activities, music, storytelling, craft beer, and food trucks. The 2025 Festival will take place October 11-12, 2025 at Snow Hinton Park in Tuscaloosa, AL.

In 2018, the Festival was named 5th in the nation (based on artists' self-reported sales) in the category of Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows by Sunshine Artists Magazine, recognized by AL Department of Tourism as one of the top-ten events to attend in AL in 2018, and by AL Magazine as one of the "Best of Bama 2024." Additionally, the U.S. Library of Congress has named the Festival a "Local Legacy." Kentuck has also been featured in Smithsonian Magazine, Southern Living, American Style Magazine, and National Geographic Traveler.

The Festival is nationally recognized for its quality, diversity, and celebration of artistic style ranging from folk to contemporary arts and traditional crafts. Artists are numerically scored by a jury panel of arts professionals on the basis of quality, originality, and creativity. A limited number of artists per category are accepted to provide a diverse and balanced show. Applications require 4 images and a booth shot, with no application fee. Early bird deadline is May 15, 2025 (jury fee $35), with final deadline June 1, 2025 (jury fee $50). Artist notifications will be sent July 7, 2025. Medium categories include Clay, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Natural Materials, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Two-Dimensional, and Wood.
