KC Clay Guild Teabowl National 2015

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the United States. Entry fee is $30.00 for up to three works per artist. Artwork must have been completed within the last two years and reflect the theme of the show: Teabowls. Work must not exceed 9" in any direction and may not exceed $250 in value per piece. No detail photos accepted. Images must meet CallForEntry.org resolution requirements. Accepted artists may be contacted for high resolution photos (300 dpi at 3" x 5" or greater) to be submitted by 6/17/15.

Timeline: Entry deadline is 5/8/15 at midnight. Notification of accepted artists will be sent by 6/6/15. Teabowls must be received at KC Clay Guild (200 West 74th St., Kansas City, MO) by 7/31/15. Opening Reception is 8/28/15 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thornhill Gallery at Avila University (11901 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145). The show closes 9/18/15. Unsold teabowls will be on display at KCCG's Centered Earth Gallery through October 16, then shipped back if shipping has been provided. If payment for return shipping is not received by 11/18/15, unsold artwork becomes the property of KC Clay Guild.

All artwork must be for sale. Artists receive 60% of the sale price; KC Clay Guild and Thornhill Gallery retain and split a 40% commission. At least $1,300 in prize money and purchase awards will be awarded. KC Clay Guild, Thornhill Gallery, and Avila University reserve the right to photograph or use digital images in publicity materials.
