Kansas City Artists Coalition's Undergraduate College Student Exhibition 2010

Kansas City Artists Coalition's 15th Annual Undergraduate College Student Exhibition is a juried competition open to currently enrolled undergraduate college students in Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas. The geographic eligibility area is defined by N-S Highway 63 as the Missouri dividing line and N-S Highway 81 as the Kansas dividing line; schools in towns where these highways run through are eligible.

Students may enter 1-3 original artworks completed in the last two years that have not been previously shown in KCAC Galleries. All media is eligible. Two-dimensional work must be framed and wired for installation; works on paper should be framed under plexiglas. Sculpture must not weigh over 150 lbs. If accepted, video artists must provide display equipment for the duration of the exhibition. There is no entry fee. Submissions are made online at www.CallForEntry.org and require 1-3 images prepared according to specifications.

The exhibition will be held at the Mallin and Jacqueline B. Charno Galleries, 201 Wyandotte, Kansas City, Missouri 64105. Work must be hand delivered on Saturday, April 3 between 11-4 p.m. The opening reception is April 9, 5-8 p.m., and the exhibition ends April 23. Work pickup is April 24 between 11-4 p.m. Artists will be notified of acceptance beginning March 17 via email. The Leigh Rosenberg Earnest Memorial Fund will award a total of $500 in scholarships.
