Kansas City Artists Coalition re:MEMBERS

The Kansas City Artists Coalition is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with re:MEMBERS, an exhibition open to all current, former, and new members. This is an opportunity to celebrate the people who have been part of the organization's history.

Eligibility: Open to artists who are current, former, or new members of the Kansas City Artists Coalition. Entries must be original work completed in the last five years and not previously shown in The Artists Coalition's Galleries. All visual media is eligible. Work requiring special installation (including large or heavy works) will be accepted only if the artist is available to install the work July 1. Video submissions are accepted; KCAC has LG 3-D 42-inch LED monitors and blu-ray players available. If artists require different equipment, they must provide it for the duration of the exhibition.

Submission Requirements: Submit 1-5 images and up to 3 videos (8 total samples maximum) through CaFÉ at www.CallForEntry.org. Entry fee is $20 for 1-5 entries (non-refundable). Artists who join or renew membership by May 1 prior to entering re:MEMBERS will receive a 100% discount coupon code. Accepted artists will be notified beginning June 3 via email. Work is due June 20, 24-27 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The opening reception is July 10, 5-8 p.m., and the exhibition runs through August 20. Hand-delivered work pickup is August 21-22 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.); shipped work is returned August 26-27. Artists pay shipping costs both ways and must provide return shipping prepaid via UPS. The Artists Coalition takes 30% commission on work sold. An illustrated digital catalog will be published and distributed to contemporary art curators and gallery directors nationally. Insurance is provided by the Artists Coalition for the exhibition; artists are responsible for insurance during shipment.
