Kahilu Exhibits 2019-20 Season Call for Proposals

Kahilu Exhibits, located in the galleries at Kahilu Theatre on the Big Island of Hawaii, invites applications for the 2019-2020 Exhibition Season (September - July). The exhibition program features local and global works of art from both emerging and established visual artists. Accepted proposals will be considered for solo and thematic group shows. Curators of exhibitions may also submit a proposal.

The Exhibition Committee selects artists and/or curators via a proposal and review process once a year. Educational outreach includes school visits, artist talks, workshops, and publications that encourage the visual arts to be a catalyst for creativity and growth. Applications submitted will remain on file for two years, and those not chosen for an exhibit will be considered for any additional opportunities that occur during the season.

Entry fee: $35.00. Work sample requirements: 5-15 images (required), 0-6 audio files, and 0-6 video files. Eligibility is open to national applicants. Contact: [email protected]
