About This Call
K-Art Projects USA, in partnership with Art Living Miami, invites national and international emerging artists to enter a juried competition for the opportunity to exhibit at Red Dot Fair during Art Miami Week, November 30 - December 4, 2022. The fair is a modern and contemporary art show in the heart of Miami featuring 75+ galleries and over 500 leading artists, attracting 38,000+ visitors including high-net-worth collectors.
Two winners will be selected for physical exhibition at Booth #200, located at the main aisle of the fair. Additionally, 20 artists will be selected for an online exhibition on the Artsy Platform, with each artist displaying 4 pieces for sale during the fair and one month post-fair. Selections will be juried by Isabel Fernandez, President of Art Living Miami, and Zammy Migdal, Chief Curator of Contemporary Art Projects USA, based on artistic excellence, innovation, and originality. Artists receive 60% commission on sales.
Eligibility: Open to artists 18 years and older working in Computer Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Small and Monumental Sculptures, and Innovative New Technologies in Art. Entry fee is $60 for the application, jury fee, and three images; additional images cost $10 each (maximum fee $90). Submit 3-7 images. All work must be original and available for sale. Hanging works are limited to 60" height and 40" width, not exceeding 30 lbs. Sculptures are limited to 40" height x 24" depth. Photography must be mounted on aluminum, Plexiglas, or framed with a floating frame (1.5"-2" wide, black or white only). Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance. K-Art Projects USA retains 40% commission on sales during the exhibition and 30 days after, and 40% on online exhibition sales. Unsold artwork must be picked up at fair closing; storage fees of $100/day apply for artwork not retrieved.
