Just Like a Woman

Just Like a Woman seeks artwork that speaks to the layers of what it means to be female. A woman's value, her mystery, her complexity, her beauty, and her possibilities. The exhibition celebrates women from all over the world in their strength and vulnerability. Artists are invited to show through their perspective women of all ages and stages that reveal aspects of the feminine core.

Open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, and digital art, except video. This is an online exhibition. Entry fee is $20 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total entries. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. The call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Artists must submit only work that will be available at the time of the exhibit and will remain for its entirety. If work does not fully reflect what is represented in the JPEG, the Cultural Center reserves the right to eliminate it from the exhibition.

JPEGs are due by May 1, 2020. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will occur in late May 2020. Notification will be done by email. All images must be in JPEG format with a minimum size of 1920 pixels on the longest side at 72 dpi and a maximum file size of 5 MB. Juror selection is by Director's choice with no personal feedback given by jurors. All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist's website.
