Juried Exhibition Near and Far

Silverwood Park invites artists who are at least 18 years old and reside primarily in the Midwest to submit work for a juried exhibition. Juror: Mary Bergs. Submissions must include 1-5 images and supporting materials (resume, artist statement, and image information).

The exhibition "Near and Far" asks artists to shift their view of the natural world and see and understand it from a new perspective. Work can be 2-D and 3-D, representational or abstract. Framed work should not measure more than 40 inches at greatest width or 48 inches at greatest height. 3-D work must fit on a 15 x 15 inch pedestal or be freestanding. Work must be ready to hang and framed with wire.

Application Deadline: August 1 by 11:59 pm. Notification by email: September 10. Delivery by shipment: September 24–October 5 or by drop-off: October 2-7. Exhibit opens October 11 with an opening reception from 6–8 pm and closes November 30. Return of artwork: December 1-3 for artist pick up or week of December 3 for return shipping. Artists are responsible for all shipping fees and insurance. Silverwood Park retains a 25% commission on work sold in the gallery.
