Juried Alumni Exhibition 2019

The Vicki Myhren Gallery at the University of Denver is accepting submissions for the 2019 Juried Alumni Exhibition, on view May 16 - June 16, 2019. The exhibition is designed to showcase the creative talent of University of Denver alumni across a variety of contemporary approaches to art-making. Eligible artists must have received a degree from the University of Denver; alumni from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Works will be selected by a panel of three jurors: Andrea Wallace, Director of Artistic Programs at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center; Sue Oehme, master printmaker of Oehme Graphics; and Cordelia Taylor, artist and technology department administrator at the Denver Art Museum. Submissions are accepted online through April 4, 2019. Artists must submit a minimum of 1 and maximum of 5 images, with up to three video files also accepted. Participants must provide information about installation requirements, an artist or project statement of no more than 500 words, and a current resume or CV. There is no fee to participate.

Selected artists will be notified on April 12, 2019. Works may be dropped off in person (April 22 - May 3, 2019) or shipped to the gallery. The opening reception is May 16, 2019 at 5-8 PM. Artists may pick up their work June 17 - June 23, 2019. If return shipping is needed, the gallery will arrange and pay for shipping up to $150.
