July Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for its July Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The exhibition runs Wednesday, June 29th through Thursday, July 28th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on July 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Entry fee is $30.00.

Artists must provide two tags per piece (one for the back, one for wall display), each no larger than 3.5" x 5", labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. All artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Local artists should deliver work Friday, June 24th or Saturday, June 25th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists may ship work by Saturday, June 25th with prepaid return shipping labels required. The gallery accepts FedEx, UPS, or USPS in reusable cartons only. Artwork will be picked up Friday, July 29th or Saturday, July 30th (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Payment is made by Monday, August 1st. Eligibility is open to artists and photographers 18 years or older nationwide. All artwork must be original and for sale.
