July Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the July Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 square feet of display space featuring original exposed brick. The gallery has been in business for 10 years and is open full-time six days a week.

This group art show is open only to 2D artists and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals per artist to exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 48" width x 72" height and must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags (no larger than 3.5" x 5") for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state.

The exhibition runs Wednesday, July 1st through Thursday, July 30th, 2020, with a First Friday Artist Reception on July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The entry fee is $30 for up to 5 image submissions. Commission on sales is 75% to the artist and 25% to the gallery. Artists will be paid by Saturday, August 1st. Local artists should deliver work Friday, June 26th or Saturday, June 27th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). Pick-up is Friday, July 31st or Saturday, August 1st (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork anytime after selection until Saturday, August 1st; artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance and must include a prepaid return shipping label. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date.
