July Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the July Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The entry fee is $30.00. Artists must be 18 years of age or older, and all artwork must be original and for sale. Maximum artwork display size is 48" width x 72" height.

The exhibition runs Wednesday, July 5th through Thursday, July 27th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on July 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags (no larger than 3.5" x 5") for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Local artists are requested to be present during the First Friday reception. Delivery dates are Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Pick-up dates are Friday, July 28th and Saturday, July 29th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists shipping work are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance and must include prepaid return shipping labels. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date.
