January Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for its January Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for jury review. The exhibition runs Wednesday, January 4th through Thursday, January 26th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on January 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height. Entry fee is $30.00. Artists must submit 3-5 images.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. All artwork must be original, created by the submitting artist, and for sale. Artists must be 18 years or older. Artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must provide two tags (no larger than 3.5" x 5") for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Local artists are requested to be present during the First Friday reception. Local delivery and pick-up dates are December 30th-31st and February 27th-28th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists may ship artwork with prepaid return shipping labels; the gallery will return unsold artwork within two weeks of the closing date. Payments to artists will be made by Wednesday, February 1st.
